This fleeting reality prompts us to ask: how can we make the most out of the vapor of life we have been given? Join us as Micah McElveen, Founder and CEO of Vapor Ministries, shares insights on how we can invest our vapor to make the most significant impact on the world around us.

Переглядів 647День тому
"I want to do what is good, but I don't. I don't want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway." Can anyone relate? In the final week of our "Fix My " series, Pastor Danny explores our struggle with our misguided desires and how we can align them with God's will. In this message, we will learn three powerful tools to help fix our desires: overcoming your shame with grace, strengthening your self...

As demetri Martin said. A pessimist will see the glass as half empty. An optimist will see it as half full. A contortionist will say I can fit inside that glass.
I see a glass someone was too lazy to put in the dishwasher
Correcting and discipline is love. You have to care enough to actually be involved and teach.
You can love and discipline at same time.
And this is why Gen Z is spoiled. Because of trash gurus like this
Nope, love means correction and guidance when necessary.
Gen z are dumb. Dummy make excuses for them
Wish I could fund a church that is real truth
🙏 amen
That is the truth
Thats my dad! 😁
Parenting is simple. No phones. Internet access, but with a lot of communication around what grooming is and what pr0n does to your brain; no internet until they're capable of understanding those things. Raise your kids to enjoy reading. Communicate with them the reasons why you or your spouse isn't around as much as you'd like, due to work. Be as active as possible. Teach them to help make dinner and give them responsibilities as soon as they're capable of helping. Guide them to think critically by asking them questions that get them to think things through.
Yes! Amen!
❤️
And the breakdown of the family is often caused by the breakdown of our mental health, which has also become uber complex to maintain.
Amen!!
On point Matt
Bivgest problems in society are unchecked ego and people not being able to read

I’ve been putting off this conversation: all Protestant denominations are derivatives of 16th century novelties.

Where is this church at that she talking about
What a powerful word 🔥🙌🏼
I agree with where she is coming from. I got my first phone when i was in 6th grade so i can contact my mom or dad while im walking home from practice or anything so they can keep tabs. If your child walks everywhere and neither of the parents have the freedom to drive their kid, get the kid a phone for emergencies only.
Not having a phone until that age they wont have any friends so there wont be any peers you'll have to worry about besides the ones bullying them for not being part of and understanding everyone elses society. You have to understand its a huge part of how the world works now and your making them behind on it. They wouldn't even understand the jokes everyone talks about or anything. They would feel very left out and not understand what anyone's talking about because trust me it's a common part of communication. I could see not needing a phone until older as long as they have access to internet in other ways. I get limiting it but you really shouldn't completely keep them from it. You will delay their growth and isolate them from peers.
I hear this but the whole reason my parents me a phone in 6th grade is because the first day of tennis practice, it got canceled and they told us all to call our parents but I didn’t have a phone so I had to wait 2 hours until they came to pick me up because they didn’t know it got canceled. I get what you’re saying but I also think that it can be a safety thing.
To be fair she says "smartphone." I had a tiny phone for the same reason, and there are still basic flip phones today.
Some cultures don't use mattresses or chairs or even tables. They use foutons and the floor. I think I could do that. I do want to point out though that God wants us to enjoy life, not just survive it and give as much as we can. Making your house a home, for example, can also make it more of a temple and a sanctuary for your kids, yourself, and friends. Don't be afraid to accommodate your unique emotional needs. For example, some people might need a towel warmer to be able to get themselves to shower often enough due to sensory processing disorder.
Excellent video
the beard throws me off so hard now 😅
Amazing...✝️❤
So true!!! Amen
Yeah Brother, Go and tell it on the mountain! Eloquently spoken. Thank you Teacher. 🙏🤟

I''ve often wondered... after attending many different churches during my life...why, oh why had I never heard a pastor give a sermon on this? How can a person claim to be a Christian and not read the literal word of God? It's like attending a college class, buying the textbook not reading it and expecting to get something out of the class....
I go to this church and I absolutely loved the lessons. it changed me so much amen ❤❤
absolute truth
